WHAT YOU WILL DO

Cogility Software is looking for a Data Analyst to play a pivotal role in leveraging the incredible capabilities of our Cogynt platform to realize the goals of our customers. You’ll work closely with product managers, QA, training and documentation to help bring Cogynt to greater heights. You will also work closely with data from various industries, learn about their data requirements and help our customers harness the full potential of our platform.

  • Identifying customers' unique needs and providing guidance on how to leverage the Cogynt platform effectively for their business applications.
  • Once you've comprehended a client's data requirements, you'll offer valuable assistance in data integration, modeling, testing, and data visualization.
  • Assist clients in data integration using Kafka and Druid, employing Python for seamless integration processes.
  • Guide clients in the modeling process within the Cogynt platform, ensuring their data is structured optimally.
  • Craft meaningful data visualizations on the Cogynt platform that align with client requirements, transforming data into actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with the QA team by contributing to data generation and modeling efforts for testing purposes.
  • Prepare product demonstrations for prospective customers, showcasing the power and potential of Cogynt.
  • Work closely with the product manager to contribute to the product roadmap, ensuring our platform stays ahead of the curve.
This is a hybrid position. You must be able to come into the Irvine, CA office 2 days a week. Only local candidates should apply. 

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering field required.
  • 0-2 years of engineering or related field; client engagement management experience is a plus.
  • Strong ability to code in Python and Jupyter Notebooks.
  • Some experience with Kafka preferred.
  • Experience with statistical analysis required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to translate customer requirements into technical requirements.
  • Strong written and oral skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Eligibility for a TS/SCI security clearance
